VIRTUAL MUSEUM PROJECT

PortfolioMuseum

Description: This was my Senior Project. It's a museum simulator created in Unreal that is filled with my most treasured works. I made this as an alternate and more unique way to view my portfolio. They are all organized and separated into several individuals rooms. Some of the types of works that can be viewed include my models, games, artwork, and animations. Each and every one of them is displayed next to a plaque that indicates the title of the piece, the date it was created, and a short description about the piece.

How to Play: Use the arrow keys or the "W", "A", "S", and "D" keys to move about in the museum. Models can be picked up by clicking the mouse button on an object when you are standing in front of it. You can then rotate the model by moving your mouse in different directions. The animations and games can be viewed by approaching the screen that they are presented on.

Note: You may need to extract the folder before attempting to open the .exe file, and this currently only works on a Windows computer.

ANIMATIONS

Name: "The Sword in the Stone"

Date: 4/20/2015

Description: This was my final project for a 3D animation class that I had at UF. For this animation, we had to focus on a certain type of force, and I chose pulling. I had fun animating and coming up with a short narrative for this, although coming up with one was difficult since it had to be less than a minute long. Fortunately, I prevailed and did well on it.

Name: "Sword Fight at Sword Gym"

Date: 12/9/2015

Description: This was my final project for my second and more advanced animation class that I had at UF. For this animation, the topic was more broad when compared with my first final project. In this one, we had to focus on either an animation that focused on body movement, or an animation found in a movie trailer (such as an action scene). I eventually came up with a sword fighting bit between a Mery rig and Eleven rig. I'm pretty proud with how it turned out.

Name: "Advanced Body Movement"

Date: 11/18/2015

Description: For this assignment, I was charged with creating an animation with the Mery rig and make it look as similar as possible to a video. The video showcased a young male that did parkour. This was my result.

Name: "Lip Sync Animation"

Date: 4/8/2015

Description: This was my submission for an assignment I had for a 3D animation class. In it, I was supposed to create an animation using the Norman rig that focuses on their lip's matching a movie quote that I chose from a website. Instead of just deciding to just mainly focus on the lips, I decided to add a background and a few props as well.

Name: "Mery Dozing Off"

Date: 9/6/2015

Description: This was an assignment in which I had to create Mery doing a certain action, and I chose the dozing off one.

Name: "Mery Lip Sync"

Date: 9/13/2015

Description: This was mainly practice to see if I can Lip Sync Mery properly. Although I would like to go back and touch up a few things (mainly make her turn look more natural), I'm still proud of how this came out.

Name: "Mery Game Biped Animation"

Date: 9/27/2015

Description: This was a two week project of mine in which I had to create Mery as if she was in an idle stance in a video game. I also had to include some sort of mini action, so I had her pump her fist.

Name: "Water Biped Animation"

Date: 10/11/2015

Description: This animation was focusing on my ability to use Biped effects. I was tasked with pouring water into a carafe.

Name: "The Apeeling Trap"

Date: 4/19/2016

Description: This was my final project for a class that I had at UF called Design and Production Studio 4. For this animation, I decided to mainly force on animating objects rather than animating a human-like mode. I decided the best way to do this was to create a Rube Goldberg machine animation. This film is pretty simple when it comes to the plot; Red is trying to harm Blue with his banana peel trap, but things don't go as planned.

Name: "11 Second Club: January 2016 (Swan)"

Date: 1/31/2016

Description: This is my first submission to the eleven second club, which is a website that hosts montly animating competitions. You are given an audio file, and your animation is centered on that file.

Name: "11 Second Club: February 2016 (Alcohol)"

Date: 2/29/2016

Description: This is my second submission to the eleven second club, which is a website that hosts monthly animating competitions. You are given an audio file, and your animation is centered on that file.

Name: "Bed Actions"

Date: 6/2/2016

Description: This skeleton animation was for a project that I volunteered for at school called Persim 3D, which is a smart home simulator. I was an assisting 3D animator, and I created several different key animations. This is one of them. It consists of several actions, including sitting on a bed, lying down on it, and turning of the lights.

Name: "Multiple Exposure Photograph"

Date: 10/6/2014

Description: This project involves creating a photo in which there is more than one of the same person. I decided to go with a fun one that involves video games.

Name: "Simple Composite"

Date: 10/27/2014

Description: This project involves placing a photograph of a person on a different background.

Name: "Polyptych: Tree Emotions"

Date: 11/22/2014

Description: This project focuses on creating a representation of the four states of human emotion: happiness (top-left), sadness (top-right), anger (bottom-left), and fear (bottom-right). There is also a hidden image of a sapling in the center.

Name: "Custom Brush Painting"

Date: 9/15/2014

Description: This project involves creating a brush in photoshop and creating a composition from it. I decided to make a grass-like brush, and I used that to make the bushes.

Name: "Double Exposure: Fire Fox"

Date: 11/6/2014

Description: This project focuses on creating an image by blending two images together. I thought that blending a fire with a fox would be an interesting idea since it's based on the name of the web browser, but both the images I found worked well together.

Name: "Album Cover: Operation Septentrion"

Date: 10/13/2014

Description: This project involves creating an album cover. I was given a random band name, an album title, and a background. I combined all of the ones I received and put them all together.
